Chicken Chop @ Canteen B
This Western stall is pretty popular during lunch, as the queue can form snaking “layers”! (but actually you’d realise that many other stalls have long queues too)
The rice was some butter herb rice, and you can see pieces of herbs in them. Very special in NTU!
However, the chicken was quite dry even with the gravy. Not tender, so thumbs down for this.
I’m guessing that the mashed potato was made from powder, based on the taste and texture. It doesn’t have much taste and was kind of grainy. But it doesn’t really matter if you’re not picky 😛
Overall, not really worth the $3.50 – $3 for the chicken chop, $0.50 for the rice. (If you would like spaghetti, pay an extra $1.) You can get much better chicken chops in NTU such as in Can 16, and Can 9 if you’re willing to travel.
As a general warning, this review was made based on the set I was served and standards will definitely vary each day. Do not blame me should your meal fall below expectations!
